Andrew McDonald CV
Originally from New Zealand, I have been living, studying and working in London since 1986. In 1998 I completed my MA in Millinery Design at the Royal College of Art.
Central concerns in my work are the nature of identity, revelation and the experience of art.
I realise my work through a diverse spectrum of production that spans painting, performance, object making, ceramics, costume and sound.
While studying I also performed as a live artist in the UK and internationally with an experimental music group and then with a seven-piece performance/music group.
I have also lectured in performance art at City and Islington College (2013).
